waterlily's town

I was in Vecpiebalga last Sunday. Vecpiebalga is well-known as a waterlily's town.(Correction-Vecpiebalga is only populated place.) There are a couple of ponds with so beautiful Waterlilies
in the 'centre'.
Actually,I was there because my grandfather's cemetery is in Vecpiebalga. Latvians are crazy people because we "celebrate" something like 'Cemetery day'. This day is reason to come all relatives together and remember the departed.This time it was quite boring for me because there were only elderly people. But I had good time on myself because I took a lot of picture of nature,relatives..This meeting was good for my father- he met his kin.
